As this project moves forward, there will be many opportunities for participation and involvement. Once a formal museum design is in place, exhibit and collection policies established and curators hired, the museum will need the help of many to reach its ultimate goals. Your help now can make a big difference in how quickly we can open our doors!

Become a Founding Friend!
Founding Friends is what we're calling those who believe in what we’re doing and are able to help us even before the doors are open! As a Founding Friend you’ll receive timely updates on our progress, invitations to special events, and an opportunity to get sneak peeks on our progress.

To become a Founding Friend please complete the accompanying form and return it with the $100 annual membership dues. You’ll receive confirmation acknowledging your participation as a Founding Friend.

The Iowa Transportation Museum is a non-profit Iowa corporation, with Federal ID # 42-1491872 and qualifies under Internal Revenue Code 501( c )3 as being exempt from federal income tax. Gifts to the Iowa Transportation Museum are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

There are two ways become a Founding Friend. You can either fill out our online interest survey and indicate you would like to join the list of Founding Friends, or if you prefer, you can download a printable version of this survey to fill out and return by mail.
