Iowa Chapter of the Wheelmen to Ride for ITM
2nd Annual ITM Bike Ride
On June 26, 2010 we will be hosting the Second Annual Iowa Transportation Museum Bike Ride. This year the bike ride will start at Central Park in the downtown area of Grinnell with registration beginning at 9 AM. Just look for the white tent that says “Bikes to You”.
I am excited to announce that we have been in contact with the Iowa Chapter of the Wheelmen (thewheelmen.org) and they have accepted our invitation to attend the ride. We will plan to begin the traditional ride to Rock Creek Lake and back at 9:30 AM. Light refreshments will await the riders at the lake.
The cost of the ride is a $20.00 donation per rider or be an enthusiastic supporter of the Iowa Transportation Museum with your monetary contribution. Your support allows us to move forward in the planning and development of the museum project. We are a registered Iowa non profit organization and donations are tax deductable to the extent permitted by law.
We sincerely appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again this year. Please visit our web sites: www.iowatransportationmusem.org and www.transportationheroes.org to learn more about the ITM project.
